Tuesday night was yet another example of just how dynamic of a player Shohei Ohtani is.
The two-way superstar drew the start for the Los Angeles Angels and gave them 6.1 innings while allowing just one run and striking out 10 batters.
In addition, he went 3-for-3 at the plate with two solo home runs.
Ohtani also earned his seventh win of the season and lowered his ERA to 3.02.
The Halos won the game by a final score of 4-2 over the Chicago White Sox.
After the game, Chicago Cubs right-hander Marcus Stroman commented on Ohtani’s remarkable night, reminding fans to be grateful that they have a chance to see such a truly incredible player in action.
MVP with ease. He should win it every year. What he’s doing is insane. All of us at the highest level can’t believe our eyes. Truly remarkable. Be thankful you get to witness a real GOAT! #OHTANI https://t.co/D8Masl6dQt

Stroman also stated that he believes Ohtani is the clear choice for the American League MVP.
He last won that award in 2021 and finished second in the running last year behind Aaron Judge.
Stroman even claimed that Ohtani should win the award every year.
At this pace, Ohtani certainly is deserving of yet another MVP award.
As a hitter, Ohtani owns a .304 batting average with 28 home runs, 64 RBI, and a 1.040 OPS.
His greatness was on full display yet again on Tuesday night as he dominated the White Sox on both sides of the ball.
But Stroman is clearly just as amazed as the rest of the baseball world at what Ohtani can do.
It’s obvious by now that Ohtani is one of the greatest players the game has ever seen, and may in fact be the best player in the game today.
