In their eventual win over the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football, New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones was seen in an unusual light on national television.
He was passionate, fiery, and emotional, something that hasn’t necessarily been shown by Jones in the past two years that he has been in the NFL.
In a post-game presser, Jones was left to defend his actions on the field.

Jones led the Patriots to a 27-13 victory in this game, with a stat line of 24 for 35, 235 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception.
While this wasn’t Jones’ best game as a passer, he did what he needed to do to keep the Patriots in the game, and ultimately, to win the game.
This passion isn’t something that we have traditionally seen from Jones, but it can be seen as a sign that he’s growing as an NFL player.
Having this passion, and wanting to grow and get better as a team, often leads to much success in NFL.
Where Do The Patriots Stand?
Currently, Jones and the Patriots have a 7-6 record.
In order to make the playoffs, they need to keep up this level of play, due to the increased strength of the AFC.
There are currently five teams in the AFC with a record better than the Patriots, and three total teams with a record of 7-6.
The Patriots’ next four games are against the Las Vegas Raiders, Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, and Buffalo Bills.
Will they be able to continue their strong play, and sneak into the playoffs?
