Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks has made quite a splash in the NBA over the last few years.
Now he is going to make a splash in a totally different way.
Doncic announced a very special three-on-three tournament.
As shared by BasketNews, via NBACentral, Doncic’s tournament will be held on a floating court in the middle of a lake in his home country of Slovenia.
Competing teams will have to play against one another all while they take in the scenic view around them.

This tournament, called the Luka 2 Lake Bled, is part of the introduction of his new shoes.
He will unveil his latest signature shoes with Jordan Brand during the tournament, which means it’ll be special for multiple reasons.
The launch event is taking place this weekend so fans are sure to hear more about it soon.
It’ll be Doncic’s last big event before training camp back in the United States.
Last season, Doncic averaged 32.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 8 assists per game.
Those are shockingly good numbers, of course, but it wasn’t enough to help his Mavericks make it into the playoffs.
The goal is that Doncic remains incredible and the rest of the team is able to support him enough to actually have a presence in the postseason again.
If 2023-24 isn’t much better than 2022-23, many people will wonder what Doncic will do.
How much longer will he remain with a team that isn’t living up to his expectations and talent?
