It’s been a long, historic NBA career for Danny Green but the three-time champion is calling it quits.
On Thursday morning, Shams Charania reported that Green was retiring after 15 seasons in the league.
Green is walking away from an NBA tenure that featured a lot to be proud of.
For example, he is one of four players in league history to win championships with three different teams: the San Antonio Spurs in 2014, the Toronto Raptors in 2019, and the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020.

Green will end with a career average of 8.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.
He announced the big news on his podcast, “Inside the Green Room With Danny Green”.
Green said he has found peace with his retirement, although he admits that wasn’t the case when he first thought of hanging up his jersey for good.
He has a lot to celebrate because Green became one of the best and most reliable sharpshooting roleplayers in the league.
He got his start with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2009-10 before quickly moving on to the San Antonio Spurs in 2010.
Green remained there for eight seasons and earned his first championship ring.
After that, he moved to the Raptors and spent one championship-bound year with them before moving to the Lakers for another ring.
It would then be a couple of seasons with the Philadelphia 7ers, Memphis Grizzlies, Cavaliers, and finally the Sixers again.
Over the last few seasons, we have seen less and less of Green, who is now 37 years old.
Because of his experience and his accomplishments, he could remain a treasured voice and opinion about the NBA for years to come.
