The 2023 season went better than expected for the Detroit Lions.
After years of being one of the worst teams in the NFL, the Lions turned things around and made it to the NFC Championship.
They might have lost that game to the San Francisco 49ers, but the fact that they got to that point was impressive by their recent standards.
This team is now confident in their abilities, as they know they can do great things in the NFC.
With this confidence in mind, the Lions have signed one of their guards, Graham Glasgow, to a three-year extension, according to Adam Schefter.
Lions are re-signing guard Graham Glasgow to a 3-year, $20 million deal that includes $9.5 million guaranteed, per source.

This deal is worth up to $20 million, and Schefter highlights that he is guaranteed $9.5 million.
Glasgow did a great job protecting Jared Goff last season and is now being paid handsomely for his efforts.
The Lions had one of the NFL’s most potent offenses last season, spearheaded by Goff and his ability to spend plenty of time in the pocket.
Can the Lions find a way to replicate their success again in 2024?
They have retained many of their key players on offense and defense, and their coaching staff remains similar to last year’s.
While that might point to another strong season, the Lions will have an in-division team to give them a run for their money.
The Green Bay Packers finished the year strong under Jordan Love, and they looked like they were going to beat the 49ers en route to the NFC Championship.
Both teams look poised to play well again this year, so seeing who comes out on top will be interesting.
