LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has been in the NBA for two decades now but that doesn’t mean he isn’t still a force of nature.
His numbers back up that claim as he was still scoring more than 30 points a game during the 2021-22 season.
Most people, including video game developers, agree that the 37-year-old James is currently one of the best in the league.

The new ratings for NBA 2K23 were revealed and James came in at 96, which is tied for second place.
The top player this year is Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks with 97.
Meanwhile, James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Nikola Jokic are all tied at 96.
A 96 is always impressive but it’s even more incredible because James is entering his 20th year in the league.
James Remains King
It might sound silly but a lot of people pay close attention to these 2K ratings.
Sure, they are part of a video game but they are also very strong, reliable indicators of who is doing best in the NBA.
You can quibble with who is number one or number two in 2K23 but you cannot deny that the game does a very good job of assessing the current landscape of the league.
Other players making noise in the association sit towards the top of NBA 2K23.
For example, Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics both earned 93 ratings this year.
Luka Doncic earned a 95 and Kawhi Leonard secured a 94.
Some might feel that a 96 is too high for James but he really was an absolute beast last year, despite the fact that his team didn’t even make the playoffs.
