LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers should be used to losing at this point in the season.
They have fallen repeatedly throughout the season but it’s gotten even worse in the last few weeks.
The team has lost eight of their last ten games and are only succeeding on the court when James is scoring more than 50 points.
Los Angeles was blown out yet again on Wednesday night, falling to the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-104 in yet another embarrassing defeat.
It was so bad that even James appeared truly deflated, defeated, and pessimistic after the game.

There was nothing resembling a smile on James’ face as he walked off the court Wednesday.
He looked like a man with a lot on his mind.
He also looked like a man who was tired of losing but resigned to the fact that his team is utterly lost.
What Can Be Done?
Can anything be done to help the Lakers as the regular season comes to an end?
It should be noted that the Lakers do have a path to the playoffs.
Right now they’re the ninth seed and that means they will be part of the NBA Play-In Tournament.
If they win there, they could then enter the postseason and maybe fight their way deep into the playoffs.
The chances of that happening are slim, of course.
In reality, the problems with LA are so vast and so deep that it’s unlikely they can change them soon.
The fact that LA isn’t even aware of what’s really bothering them only makes it more likely that nothing will be altered this year.
Things can change and LA can turn it around still – miracles do occasionally happen.
But they don’t happen often.
