Even though the Los Angeles Lakers have been far from a good team this season, LeBron James‘ performances have been nothing short of spectacular.
The King has played with a chip on his shoulder night in and night out, willing his team without Anthony Davis and with Russell Westbrook coming off the bench.
James is posting the same kind of numbers from his earlier days in the league at age 38, so there’s no wonder why he continues to be one of the most popular players in the Association.
So, unsurprisingly, the veteran forward is once again the league’s top vote-getter for the upcoming 2023 NBA All-Star Game, something he’s been used to for the better part of his career.
James leads all Western Conference players with 6,506,682 fan votes, leading Nikola Jokic by nearly two million votes.
Notably, Anthony Davis ranks third in fan voting despite missing a big stretch of the season with injuries, as per usual.
Then, when it comes to the backcourt, Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic are leading the way in the West.
For the Eastern Conference, Giannis Antetokounmpo is sitting at the top again with 5,970,196 votes, followed closely by Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum
Kyrie Irving and Donovan Mitchell round up the Eastern Conference backcourt, and it seems unlikely that we’ll see any major changes in voting when we get the final returns.

The All-Star Game sure is a popularity contest and there will be multiple snubs, but there’s no denying that James has earned every single one of those votes this season.
