The Los Angeles Lakers have been eagerly counting down the minutes until Anthony Davis returns.
He has been sorely missed, as have his 27.4 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists a game.
Before Davis was injured back in December, he was having an All-Star, MVP-caliber season.
The Lakers had enough problems before Davis’ injury and it was just the latest bit of bad news for the team.
Lakers coach Darvin Ham said Anthony Davis has done individual workouts for 45 minutes to an hour, and said is “pretty much pain free.”

But we have heard multiple good reports coming from the team and it sounds like Davis is on the road to recovery.
Head coach Darvin Ham said that Davis has done some individual workouts for 45 minutes and is “pretty much pain free.”
This is really the best news that Lakers fans could get.
It comes as multiple rumors have stated that Davis is attempting to be back on the court before the All-Star Game next month.
When Davis was hurt, there were many fans who feared he was facing a serious injury and a long rehabilitation time.
It wouldn’t have been the first time that happened: Davis has a history of needing a lot of time to recover from injuries.
There were some who were actually frightened that Davis might miss the rest of the season after some reporters stated that he could be out “indefinitely.”
But Davis and his crew have been working hard to get him back, healthy and ready to fight for the team.
They need all the fighting they can get.
The team has gotten by without Davis but they are still sitting toward the bottom of the Western Conference standings.
They will need all healthy hands on deck in the next few months if they want to avoid a repeat of last season’s missed playoffs.
