When Patrick Beverley was signed by the Los Angeles Lakers before the season started, the hope was that he would do all the things that Russell Westbrook couldn’t.
The team wanted him to be a strong-willed offensive unit who could nail three-pointers and also defend with ferocity too.
However, something ironic happened: Westbrook actually found his footing on the Lakers and Beverley hasn’t been producing much at all.
He is currently averaging 4.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists with a 30.3% field goal percentage and a career-low 25.4% from the three.

Now there is a lot of talk of Beverley possibly being traded or bought out by the Lakers.
But, where would Beverley go, and which team would jump at the chance to sign him with his lacking numbers?
We aren’t sure but apparently, Beverley is keen to return to the Minnesota Timberwolves if he is waived by LA.
Beverley had a great time during his stay in Minnesota but that doesn’t necessarily mean he will be welcomed back with open arms.
Beverley Moving Back
He only spent one season with the Timberwolves but Beverley sure did love every second of it.
He averaged 9.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists and was shooting 40% from the field.
Beverley and the rest of the T-Wolve crew were looking really good and even made the playoffs after fighting their way through the play-in tournament.
But since Beverley’s departure, the team has transformed a bit with the addition of Rudy Gobert and the resurgence of D’Angelo Russell as the point guard.
Is there room for Beverley if he really does want to come back to the Midwest?
Beverley might want to go back to Minnesota, but he also might not get what he wishes.
