Although they have gotten a bit better recently, there is no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers are still not the team that they or their fans were hoping they’d be.
The team is currently 12th in the West with an 11-16 record.
In other words, not great.
But the team doesn’t have a clear idea of how to get better, although a trade seems inevitable at this point.

And this head led them to “personally” reach out to the Washington Wizards about trading for Kyle Kuzma.
As any Lakers fan knows, Kuzma played for the Lakers from his rookie year in 2017 all the way until 2020-21, when he was traded away to DC as part of the monster Russell Westbrook trade.
We don’t know if any deal will come to fruition, but inside reporting has suggested that Kuzma is very open to the idea of packing his bags – and he has unfinished business in LA.
Kuzma Coming Back?
In many ways, Kuzma has become a better player since leaving for Washington.
When he left the Lakers, he was seen as a young and impressive, but inconsistent, player.
Therefore, he would love to come back and show the fans in southern California what he can really do.
The Lakers would want Kuzma because of his shooting skills and his defensive ability, both of which are lacking on their team.
He is shooting better than he ever has, with a 46.2% field goal percentage right now.
However, is this going to happen or will both sides not come to an agreement?
It would be wild to see Kuzma go back to LA after being traded by them just a couple of seasons ago.
But the NBA is full of weird, bizarre stories and Kuzma’s return to Los Angeles could be one of them.
