If the Los Angeles Lakers hope to make the playoffs this year, they will have to work incredibly hard over the next couple of months.
The team is currently 13th in the West, which means they wouldn’t qualify for the play-in tournament if it started today.
That obviously is not what they want and they swear they are going to do whatever it takes to avoid missing the postseason for the second year in a row.
The team has talent but it needs consistency – and lots of it.
Therefore, fans of the Lakers are happy to hear that head coach Darvin Ham plans to stick with the same starting lineup that beat the New Orleans Pelicans right before the All-Star break.

This lineup will consist of D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, LeBron James, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Anthony Davis.
For most teams, the news of using the same lineup again wouldn’t be noteworthy.
However, it is for the 2022-23 Los Angeles Lakers.
Because of multiple injuries, absences, and general coaching tweaks, the team has had over 30 different starting lineups throughout the season.
That means that just about everyone who plays for the Lakers has gotten a chance to start at one point this year.
Yet, the squad hasn’t found much success.
Ham has been looking for a reliable and strong lineup that works and can start each game off right.
This group got things going in a great way last week against the Pelicans and now it is time to see if they can do so again.
Have the Lakers finally found their permanent starting lineup?
Is this the change they need to finally capitalize on their talent?
