Kyle Kuzma isn’t solely focused on leading his Washington Wizards, as he’s also a businessman.
The forward is the co-founder of plant-based sports drink Barcode, a product he launched with former New York Knicks trainer Bar Malik back in 2021.
Being a savvy businessman, Kuzma just signed a major name to be the new face of that product: Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs.
Kuzma and Wembanyama appeared in a video together on Kuzma’s Twitter account announcing the new partnership.

The addition of Wembanyama is a big one for Barcode because he is one of the most talked-about athletes in the world right now.
His face and name will bring a lot more awareness to the brand, especially as the season picks up and he gains more attention during his rookie year.
As for Kuzma, he is going to be under a much brighter spotlight this year, which could also help his product.
He recently signed a four-year, $102 million contract extension with his Wizards.
And with the recent changes that have come to the team, he is clearly the biggest name on the squad for now, alongside Jordan Poole.
The Wizards are now without both Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis.
The loss of those two stars hurts the team’s chances of finally having a good postseason again but it does help bring more focus to Kuzma.
Last season, he averaged 21.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists on a 44.8% field goal percentage.
When last season began, the four best scorers for the Wizards were Beal, Porzingis, Kuzma, and Rui Hachimura.
Kuzma is now the last man standing in the nation’s capital and that could be a big step for his career.
So while he will be focusing a lot on Barcode, he will also need to be focusing on his game too.
