The Washington Wizards are doing better than expected so far this season with a decent 3-4 record despite many people writing them off.
A big part of the team’s success is Kyle Kuzma, who looks more comfortable and more commanding already this season than he did the last.
Still, no one can be perfect and mistakes are made during every game.

For example, Wizards fans were left shaking their heads on Monday night as Kuzma went up for a dunk – and missed it entirely.
It was embarrassing for Kuzma, who had one of the worst nights of his season so far.
Kuzma is doing better but he’s still showing the troubling signs of inconsistency that have followed him throughout his career.
Kuzma’s Continued Career
When first playing for the Los Angeles Lakers at the start of his time in the NBA, some people saw Kuzma as one of the best new players in the league.
Sure enough, he was showing some incredible prowess from all over the court.
But he eventually wore out his welcome in LA, partly because of the fact that he’s sometimes very hot and sometimes very cold.
The team felt they couldn’t rely on Kuzma and sent him packing to the Wizards as part of the major trade that acquired them Russell Westbrook.
Kuzma has been trying to become a team leader and central figurehead in Washington and he’s had some success with that.
Still, he sometimes remains hot and then cold, all within the span of one week.
For example, he was scoring double digits to start the season this year but has only scored 9 points for the last two games.
