There is a lot we don’t know about next season’s New York Knicks.
The team has already made a major move during free agency, signing Jalen Brunson of the Dallas Mavericks for a massive deal that shows how vital he will be to the organization moving forward.
But a lot of other questions remain and the biggest one revolves around Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz.
The Knicks are reportedly on the hunt for Mitchell and are trying to assemble a trade package to land him.
How would you feel with this Potential Knicks Starting 5?
PG: Jalen Brunson
SG: Donovan Mitchell
SF: RJ Barrett
PF: Obi Toppin

If he does become part of the team, there is no doubt he’d be a member of its starting five.
He would likely join Brunson, RJ Barrett, Obi Toppin, and Mitchell Robinson.
We don’t know how successful that team would be but it is certainly a good-looking squad that happens to be missing one key player.
Where’s Randle?
Just last season, everyone in the Knicks organization was very high on Julius Randle as he had a stellar year and won the 2020-21 Most Improved Player of the Year Award.
Now it sounds like he could be on his way out the door.
If the Knicks do in fact land Mitchell, they will do so because they probably traded away Randle, whose 2021-22 season looked far worse than the one that came before it.
Parting ways with Randle would be a huge move for the team just one season after he was doing so well.
But it shows how intent they are on winning now.
The Knicks are surely weighing all of their options right now and will move forward with the course that feels right for them, with or without Randle.
