Kevin Durant just turned 37 years old, and he was able to celebrate his birthday with his new team, the Houston Rockets.
The Rockets were happy to wish him a happy birthday on social media, and Durant responded with his own excitement for the new year.
“Season 19, can’t wait,” Durant posted on X.

Season 19 could be a huge one for Durant, who is already a 15-time All-Star, four-time scoring champion, and two-time NBA champion.
He has moved on to his newest team, and there are big expectations for the Rockets.
The team was already one to watch last season, but the addition of Durant turns them into an even bigger force in the West.
If they don’t reach the playoffs and make some serious noise, there will be concerns that this group is yet another bad fit for Durant.
He will be a centerpiece of their plans, and is still producing big numbers at 37.
Last season, he averaged 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists for the Phoenix Suns.
That team had a ton of trouble, but Durant remained consistent through it all.
He is hoping that playing with this squad will give him a better chance of earning another spot in the Finals.
He is 37, which means that he doesn’t have a lot more time left in the league before retirement.
He wants to make every season count.
The Rockets have been set back by the loss of Fred VanVleet, which means they need Durant even more.
He is ready to produce and play his heart out in season No. 19.
