An NBA player’s worth is dictated by multiple factors, including how successful and coveted they are in the NBA2K video game series.
It’s not just basketball fans who play the games either, because some of the biggest names in the league are avid gamers.
Speaking on “Up & Adams,” Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant talked about his top three favorite NBA2K players.
He chose Paul George of the Philadelphia 76ers, Kyrie Irving of the Dallas Mavericks, and himself.

Durant didn’t go into detail about why he chose these three, but it’s not shocking that they made the cut.
That’s because the 2K series goes to great lengths to ensure the characters in their game are similar to their real-life counterparts.
In his first season for the Sixers, George is averaging 16.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.2 assists.
Meanwhile, Irving is putting up 24.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists for the Mavericks, while Durant is scoring 25.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists.
Unsurprisingly, they are three of the most popular avatars in the 2K series.
Durant has always been open about how he spends his time off the court, choosing to remain at home and relax with games and friends rather than go out to popular clubs and hot spots in the Phoenix area.
Of course, he is also focused on doing what he can for the Suns.
Unfortunately, he hasn’t been able to participate a lot lately because of injuries and last suited up for the Suns on December 3.
During that time, he’s been rehabilitating his ankle and possibly spending some time playing NBA2K.
