Although it hasn’t been easy, the Brooklyn Nets are this close to making the postseason.
They are currently the eighth seed in the East, which means they are qualified to participate in the play-in tournament next week and fight their way into the playoffs.
They won’t be a top-seeded team like many predicted but if they are able to get in the playoffs, they have a chance at surprising the NBA world and going all the way.
Especially if Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are playing at the top of their games.

Durant and Iriving are performing like every game is make-or-break.
In fact, they played the entire second half in their victory against the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.
Some people think Durant and Irving should be resting before the lengthy postseason begins.
But others want them to play as much as they want so they are in the zone and physically in peak condition for the weeks ahead.
Leading The Team
Durant and Irving are undeniably the two most important players for the Nets.
The Nets are the eighth seed instead of higher because they were lacking both stars for so much of the season.
Now that they are both back and in fine form, it’s time to make up for lost time.
The Nets didn’t expect to be fighting in the play-in tournament but that’s the card they’ve been dealt and now it’s time to do whatever they must to win.
As for playing too much, Durant and Irving are surely feeling comfortable with how many minutes they’re getting.
They know their bodies and they won’t push them over the limit even if their desire to win is strong.
They know how important they are to the team and they will do everything they can to stay healthy.
