We don’t know what’s next in the NBA for Kemba Walker.
The former All-Star is waiting on the Detroit Pistons for a buyout offer that he is comfortable with.
The team was looking to trade him but didn’t find any suitors so they instead decided to buy him out, but the deal they prepared wasn’t to Walker’s liking so he is now in professional basketball limbo.
Kemba Walker:
“[Nobody’s] reached out to me… I just want to be able to play basketball again; I don’t care if it’s the bench or not.”

Walker just wants to play and is hoping that he still has a future in the league: “[Nobody’s] reached out to me,” he said, as seen in the above tweet.
He continued: “I just want to be able to play basketball again; I don’t care if it’s the bench or not.”
Walker is still a talented player despite a rough patch in New York.
So, why is he having such a hard time finding a team that wants him?
Walker Walking Away
Walker is hoping his deal with the Pistons comes together – and soon.
It’s very unlikely that he will be starting the season with any team because he doesn’t have anyone lined up to take him and he hasn’t participated in any preseason games to show off his skills.
His best bet is that the Pistons buy him out and his management team is able to find a franchise that is willing to give him a chance to prove himself.
Before his stint in New York with the Knicks, Walker was scoring nearly 20 points a game every night.
He didn’t fit in with the Knicks and it was a complete mess from beginning to end but that doesn’t mean he’s a washed-up player far past his prime.
Sadly, he won’t be able to prove that until his situation with Detroit is resolved.
