The Green Bay Packers knew they would have to pay to get Micah Parsons.
So far, he’s been worth every penny and asset they gave up to get him in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys.
However, he hadn’t taken over a game for Green Bay the way he did against the Arizona Cardinals, and Kay Adams recently gushed about the edge rusher’s impact on the Week 7 victory.
“How about Micah Parsons? It wasn’t just the three sacks. It was the context, the timeliness of every play he made in this win over the Cardinals. Much needed. He bailed this team out. If they had lost, that would be a bad thing,” Adams said.

Parsons was all over the field, kept Arizona QB Jacoby Brissett under duress, and recorded a career-high in sacks for a single game.
The Packers needed every one of his pressures and hits.
He rose to the occasion in the clutch, getting timely stops to keep his team in the game, as the offense wasn’t as efficient or explosive as usual.
This might be the second time Parsons saved the Packers from a loss.
He also had a crucial stop in the Week 4 tie against the Cowboys, getting to Dak Prescott as he was about to get into the end zone for a potential game-winning touchdown in overtime.
Parsons is the type of game-changer who can turn a very good team into a great one, and playing at this level, it’s hard not to like the Packers’ Super Bowl chances.
