Things have not gone well for the Minnesota Vikings to start the 2023 NFL season, with the team sitting at 0-3 after Week 3 with consecutive losses to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Los Angeles Chargers.
Coming into Week 3, the Vikings had the tall task of trying to get the best of the Chargers, who are equally as desperate to get a win after losing their first two games of the season.
Even though the Vikings were in this game from the second quarter onwards, Los Angeles proved to be the better team in the end, and as a result, Minnesota is now 0-3 on the season.
As if being winless three weeks in wasn’t concerning enough for the Vikings, the team had an injury scare, with superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson seemingly getting hurt on this play via Vikings Nation.

According to ProFootballTalk.com, the injury was merely cramping toward the end of the game.
As usual, Jefferson made a major impact on the game, as he caught seven passes for 149 yards and a touchdown.
Jefferson was one of four Vikings players to catch at least five passes on Sunday, with T.J. Hockenson catching a team-high eight passes, followed by Jefferson, Jordan Addison (6) and Alexander Mattison (5).
However, the Chargers put on a show in the passing game, with Justin Herbert connecting with wideout Keenan Allen 18 times for 215 yards, followed by Mike Williams (7), Gerald Everett (6), and Joshua Palmer (4).
This was a big-time shootout between two prolific offenses that tend to lean on the passing game a lot.
