The Los Angeles Chargers, led by star quarterback Justin Herbert, pulled off a comeback win at home on Thursday night over the arch-rival Denver Broncos 34-27.
Herbert completed over 74% of his passes and threw two touchdowns in the win.
One of his touchdown throws involved him escaping the pocket and throwing an absolute dart for a touchdown before getting hit in the fourth quarter.

The former Oregon quarterback is one of the league’s most talented signal-callers, and he played like it with all eyes on him in a matchup of hopeful playoff teams.
If it were not for his performance, the Chargers would still be sitting in the final wildcard spot in the AFC at a record of 8-7.
Instead, they are now 9-6 and have jumped ahead of the Broncos in the standings.
Again, both teams are likely headed to the playoffs, seeing as the next crop of teams on the outside looking in of the AFC playoff picture are the Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Bengals, and Miami Dolphins.
All three of those teams have a record of 6-8.
With just a few games to go in the season, the Chargers would have to head to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers in the first round of the playoffs, while the Broncos would have to head to Buffalo to face the Bills.
That is how significant the performance was from Herbert and the Chargers on Thursday night.
