On Wednesday, the season was on the line for the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors, with Stephen Curry and company facing elimination in Game 5 of their second-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Although the Lakers put up a fight in Game 5, the Warriors came out playing at a high level and kept a commanding lead throughout the game, ultimately leading to a second win in the series to force a Game 6 back in Los Angeles on Friday night.
Although there was a significant distraction in the fourth quarter for the Lakers with superstar Anthony Davis going down with what looked like a concussion at the time, the Warriors were undoubtedly the better team on Wednesday night and clearly not ready to see their title defense come to an end.
On Thursday, Emmanuel Acho of Fox Sports, who picked the Lakers to come out on top in this series, admitted to being a bit nervous about where this series is going via Speak On FS1.

The primary concern moving forward for the Lakers is the health of Davis, who looked completely out of sorts after getting hit in the head by Kevon Looney late in the game.
Davis looked dazed and even required a wheelchair to be taken to the locker room after being evaluated by the team in another room at the Chase Center last night.
Although reports have come out saying Davis is expected to play in Game 6, it remains to be seen what condition he’ll be in come game time on Friday.
