Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs is having an amazing season
While the Raiders are having not a strong campaign currently, being 5-7 on the season, Jacobs is at the top of an important stat.

After 13 weeks of action, Jacobs is the best rusher in the league.
The Best Rushers
According to the statistics, Jacobs has rushed for an impressive 1,303 yards in the 12 games the Raiders have played this year.
That is on average 108.5 yards a game.
Second on the list is Cleveland Browns rushing back Nick Chubb with 1,119 yards.
That is 184 yards less than Jacobs with both players having played the same number of games.
In third and fourth place are two players that have had an amazing season so far in terms of rushing touchdowns, but surprisingly are not top of the distance list.
Derrick Henry is currently in third with 1,076 yards, while New York Giants star player Saquon Barkley is close behind Henry with 1,055 yards.
Yet they are still both over 200 yards behind Jacobs.
In another surprise, Dalvin Cook, another key asset to the Minnesota Vikings side, only has 927 yards, placing him fifth.
So, what is the impact that Jacobs has on the Raiders?
Having a running back this dominant in the league tells us that Derek Carr may be overtly reliant on Jacobs.
But, when the rest of your offense is weak, you use all the assets you have to win.
