Jose Trevino got to live out a dream last night.
The New York Yankees catcher was one of six Yankee players to appear on the American League All-Star roster.
He had two plate appearances and picked up a hit.
He came to the plate in the seventh inning mic’d up, talking to the FOX Sports broadcast team.
As he walked to the plate, he showed off his humility and shared what it felt like to be an All-Star.
“Wow, I can’t believe I’m an All-Star, man,” Trevino said. “This is unreal.”
B/R Walk-Off tweeted a video of Trevino walking to the plate as he was mic’d up, soaking in the moment.

Hello, All-Star Game
Take it all in, Jose!
This is a great moment for Trevino.
Here’s a guy who grew up in South Texas, dreaming of playing for the Yankees one day.
He finally got his wish and also made it onto the All-Star team.
You can’t help but feel happy for him.
When he was acquired by the Yankees during the offseason, nobody would have ever expected him to have made it to the All-Star team.
But here he is, getting a chance to take it all in and live out his dream.
What made that moment even more special is that Trevino ended up getting a hit there in the seventh inning.
Baseball truly is a beautiful sport, and Trevino certainly felt that in that moment.
For the first time in his life, he got a chance to play on the big stage in front of the entire baseball world, and you can just tell that he loved every second of it.
