Obviously, there have been many news stories about Jordan Poole of the Golden State Warriors lately.
Sadly, they haven’t been for the best of reasons.
Ever since being punched by Draymond Green during a practice game last week, Poole has been the focus and center of many stories.
All of this has overshadowed the fact that he is a great basketball player and has quickly become one of the most important parts of his championship team.

He showed why on Sunday night, as Poole repeatedly did some amazing work on the floor in a preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Poole scored 25 points in the 124-121 preseason loss and was razzling and dazzling the crowd with some fancy footwork.
At one point in the third quarter, he wove into traffic and put up a shot that looked downright easy, despite all the defense from the Lakers.
This is what Poole does: he creates viral highlights and does it with ease.
With a new contract looming and more attention on him than ever before, Poole is going to shine even more in 2022-23.
The Power Of Poole
Poole is becoming one of the most impressive stars on the Warriors’ roster and truly one of the most exciting young players in the league.
And all of this is coming as the team and his management work on a contract extension.
There is a good chance that Poole will re-sign with the Warriors for more than $130 million dollars on a multi-year contract.
That would be money well spent because Poole looks like the future of the team.
And every time he performs as he did on Sunday night, the future of the Warriors looks very, very bright.
