It’s been a very interesting week for Jordan Poole and the rest of the Golden State Warriors.
Obviously, there has been a lot of talk about the team lately and it hasn’t been for good reasons.
The headlines about the Warriors have all revolved around Poole, Draymond Green, and the punch heard all around the NBA world.
When Green slugged Poole last week in a practice session, he had little clue that it was going to create a controversy and firestorm that consumed the NBA.
But it is still a very hot topic, even as the regular season quickly approaches.

The team was attempting to move past the incident on Sunday night, as Stephen Curry and the rest of the Warriors presented Poole with a trophy for being the best free-throw shooter last season.
Everyone was all smiles and there were plenty of back pats and hugs to go around.
Poole was being celebrated like the premier athlete that he is.
But will the talk now again turn to Green, the fight, and what’s next for the Warriors?
Playing With Poole
Beyond his excellent free-throw abilities (88.5%), Poole is a valued player for his team for multiple reasons.
He has a career average of 13.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists.
And that has led him to become a valuable part of the Warriors and a crucial part of the team’s personality and chemistry and culture.
That is why the punch that he received is so shocking and disappointing.
The Warriors always seemed like a team filled with men who were very close, like they shared a brotherhood.
But the fight between Green and Poole completely disputes that.
We aren’t sure what is going to happen with Green moving forward.
As for Poole, he will keep doing what he’s been doing and will continue to show his dominance on the court – and his importance to the team.
