It’s the dawn of a new era for the Green Bay Packers.
Aaron Rodgers will no longer be the main guy in town, with Jordan Love set to take the reins.
Recently, the former first-round pick opened up about his experience after his first official practice as QB1.
Love talked about the importance of not making the same mistake twice, making sure to get better every single day and continue his progression, both over the course of the training camp, and over the course of the season.
Notably, there are many concerns about whether Love will be able and ready to lead the offense going forward.
Love hasn’t been impressive in the limited snaps he’s played as a professional, and he wasn’t the most highly-touted prospect when he came out of college.
Nonetheless, all reports and reviews about him and his development in the offseason have been quite positive.
The Packers organization seemed willing to part ways with Rodgers because they felt like Love was ready to take over.
His teammates have embraced him as a leader, praising his leadership skills, work ethic, and how he was able to handle the whole Rodgers situation ever since he first made it to the league.
Love knows and has heard all the doubt and criticism, yet he continues to put his head down and just keep on working.
He knows he has some big shoes to fill, and the Packers will allow him to grow through his mistakes while he proves he’s ready to take over.
