Even though Aaron Rodgers’ place in Green Bay Packers history is secure, he didn’t leave the team this offseason on the best of terms.
He had seemingly been at odds with management for the past couple of years, and the tension included a contract dispute in 2022 that threatened to end his tenure there.
The future Hall-of-Fame quarterback is now a member of the New York Jets and seems revitalized, and the Jordan Love era is beginning for the Packers.
Apparently, Rodgers hasn’t forgotten about his old team, as Love says the four-time MVP contacted him just before training camp began.
#Packers QB Jordan Love says Aaron Rodgers reached out to him last night ahead of his first training camp as QB1.
Rodgers said, "Just be yourself, have fun, and enjoy it."
Cool to see.

Although critics have gone after Rodgers for his subpar playoff record while in Green Bay, he did lead the team to its most recent Super Bowl championship in 2010.
Now he will look to guide the Jets to their first world championship since 1968 in a much tougher conference and division, although he will have better weapons around him than he did last season with the Packers.
Meanwhile, it is a brave new world for Green Bay, as no one knows exactly what to expect with Love.
In three NFL seasons, he has played in just 10 games and started only one of them, and he has completed just 60.2 percent of his passes while throwing three touchdown passes and three interceptions.
While at Utah State University, Love was solid, but his completion percentage was low and he failed to win any significant individual honors.
There is a good chance that for the first time in just over 30 years, Green Bay will not have a very talented and capable player under center.
