The Miami Heat were nothing short of inspirational during the NBA playoffs last season, with the team going from the lowest it could possibly be in the Play-in Tournament to making their way to the NBA Finals as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
Even though Jimmy Butler and company came up short in the Finals to a very good Denver Nuggets team led by two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic, the Heat were able to battle through adversity in a remarkable way that we’ve never seen before in the playoffs.
Apparently, that resilience and will to win has had an impact on NBA fans in China, with this memorable moment between Butler and a fan recently making the rounds, via ClutchPoints.
"When I tried to give up, I reminded myself how you performed in the playoffs this season. Your strength taught me how to face challenges. Even our team lost in the school tournament, I think we will be much better just as you did."

So even though the Heat were only able to get one game against the Nuggets in the Finals, their incredible postseason run will be something remembered for a very long time, as it has left a lasting impression on basketball fans while also being a testament to Heat culture.
With the 2022-23 season now in the rearview for the Heat, Butler and company hope to add another vital piece to the championship puzzle this summer, with Miami actively in talks with the Portland Trail Blazers to acquire superstar Damian Lillard.
If the Heat can trade for Lillard, Miami will be much more intimidating next season, with the star trio of Butler, Lillard, and Bam Adebayo leading the way as they try to avenge their loss in the Finals to the Nuggets and raise a fourth championship banner into the rafters in South Beach.
