Over the course of the NBA playoffs, the one team and one player that proved to everyone to never count them out was the Miami Heat and star forward Jimmy Butler.
Throughout the postseason, Butler and company proved repeatedly that seeding doesn’t matter and that any team can compete when they find a way to turn it on in the playoffs.
Unfortunately for the Heat, the Denver Nuggets proved to be too much for them to handle during the NBA Finals, as Nikola Jokic and company cruised to their first title in franchise history by suffering only one loss to the resilient squad led by Butler.
With Butler now settling into the NBA offseason and presumably waiting to hear he’ll have a new superstar teammate in Damian Lillard, he’s getting out and seeing the world and what some of the other elite athletes in other sports have to offer as he did recently at Wimbledon, via SportsCenter.

Unlike a lot of NBA stars at this time of the year being in Las Vegas to watch some of the young stars in the making like Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson during the NBA Summer League, Butler tends to do his own thing in the offseason, like taking in a tennis match in England.
He’s likely getting away from the stress of the NBA season after having his longest since 2020 while also dodging all the talk surrounding Lillard and the superstar’s intentions to be traded to the Heat, which instantly make them a serious threat in the Eastern Conference once again next season.
