The New York Jets are expected to be a heavyweight in the AFC during the 2023 NFL season, with superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers potentially being the missing piece to the puzzle in the Big Apple.
Although the Jets are as stacked as teams come on both sides of the football right now, there are still some areas of concern with the NFL preseason drawing near.
Perhaps the most concern is on the offensive line, with New York being a bit shaky in that department, as it might not be able to protect Rodgers in the way that the team is hoping moving forward.
Fortunately, a vital part of the offensive line has gotten back to form this week and is ready to get to work on Thursday night when the Jets take on the Cleveland Browns in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio, at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
On Wednesday, offensive tackle Mekhi Becton spoke to the media about his imminent return and how he feels heading toward Thursday’s game against the Browns, via Jets Videos on Twitter.

With a healthy, motivated, and slimmed-down Becton helping lead the charge on the offensive line, the Jets might have something brewing up front as they try to give Rodgers the time needed to do what he can do under center for this new-look squad.
New York will get their first look at this revamped squad on Thursday but won’t see Rodgers on the field, with young quarterback Zach Wilson expected to take the snaps against the Browns.
