It will be all systems go for New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson‘s debut in the 2022 NFL season.
The second overall pick in last year’s draft missed the first three games due to a right knee injury he suffered during their preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
It was later revealed to be a bone bruise and meniscus tear.
Fast forward to Week 4, and there’s no stopping Wilson from taking the field for the Jets.

NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero tweeted, “#Jets coach Robert Saleh says Zach Wilson fully participated in practice again and is off the injury report. He’ll make his 2022 debut Sunday vs. the #Steelers.”
Wilson will be going up against a tough Steelers defense with playmakers like Larry Ogunjobi, Cameron Heyward, Myles Jack, Alex Highsmith, and Minkah Fitzpatrick.
However, the former BYU standout has been on a tear after returning from a sprained posterior cruciate ligament injury last season.
He threw nine touchdowns and two interceptions after coming back
Wilson also has 156 consecutive passes and five straight games without an interception.
He played 13 games in his rookie season, finishing with 2,334 yards, nine touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
Jets Fans Thrilled With Team’s Potential
Wilson’s return has the team’s devoted fans excited about the Jets’ ceiling.
Aside from the second-year quarterback, the roster is brimming with potential with wide receivers Elijah Moore and Garrett Wilson.
The Jets also have a promising backfield tandem of Michael Carter and Breece Hall.
On defense, they also have D.J. Reed, Michael Carter II, and Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner.
However, the Jets will not be able to take off without providing solid protection for Wilson.
Their offensive line will be put to the challenge against an aggressive Steelers defense.
