The New York Jets are continuing to add to the coaching staff of Aaron Glenn.
Their latest move involves the hiring of a former fourth-overall pick.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, New York is hiring Pittsburgh Steelers inside linebackers coach Aaron Curry to be their new linebackers coach.
A former No. 4 overall pick of the Seattle Seahawks back in 2009, Curry will now work under defensive coordinator Steve Wilks.

Keep in mind that the Jets not only have a wealth of strong defensive players but also possess a couple of excellent inside linebackers.
C.J. Mosley is a five-time Pro-Bowler, and Quincy Williams is an All-Pro player.
Adding a former player like Curry to the coaching staff could also greatly benefit team camaraderie.
He helped the Pittsburgh Steelers turn in a top-10 season from a scoring defense perspective, thanks to his coaching work with the inside linebackers.
As a player for four seasons, Curry recorded 203 combined tackles and 5.5 sacks.
The former All-American at Wake Forest has been coaching since his playing days ended back in 2013.
After being an assistant at the University of Charlotte for six years, he made the jump to the NFL to assist the Seattle Seahawks for four years.
Then, in 2023, he joined the Steelers and made a name for himself as a rising defensive coach.
This Jets defense has the potential to be quite strong in 2024, but it will begin in the middle with Mosley and Williams if they can remain healthy.
