The Washington Commanders’ 2024 season went a lot better than anyone could have hoped.
After being one of the worst teams in the league in 2023, the Commanders bounced back in a big way, making it to the NFC Championship.
While they got trounced by the Philadelphia Eagles, making it to that point was a step in the right direction for this team.
A big reason for the Commanders’ success was Jayden Daniels, who put together a strong rookie campaign that recently won him the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
This award was announced at the NFL Honors ceremony, an event that is attended by some of the biggest names around the league, including Jerry Jones.
Jones was asked about his thoughts on Daniels before this event, and Mitchell Tischler provided his answer in a video on X.
“I get sick thinking about playing him twice a year,” Jones said.

Even though Daniels has only played in the NFL for one season, Jones is already not looking forward to playing against him for the foreseeable future.
The Commanders were seen as an easy win on the schedule in 2023, but that does not appear to be the case moving forward.
Daniels is a representation of the next chapter for the Commanders, making them a new threat to win the NFC East each year.
The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t going anywhere, likely making this a two-horse race unless the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants make some serious changes.
