The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a ton of regular-season success under Mike Tomlin.
In fact, in Tomlin’s 18 years as head coach of the team, the team has never had a losing season.
However, they have not won a playoff game since the 2016 season, which is a big problem in a place like Pittsburgh, PA.
Pro Football Hall of Fame running back and Steelers legend Jerome Bettis joined “The Dan Patrick Show” on Thursday to talk about what the Steelers need to do to get back on track.
“They haven’t been able to, offensively, get it figured out. They need a second receiver, a big-time receiver. They don’t have one…They have got to figure out a long-term solution at the quarterback position,” Bettis said.

The answer could be right in front of the Steelers, but it might not be long-term.
There might be a particular quarterback-wide receiver duo in New York that could be on the way out.
If the Steelers are looking to find an answer at quarterback and at that No. 2 wide receiver position, perhaps Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams may want to join the team.
Now, Rodgers is 41 years of age, and Adams, despite coming off a solid season, might not be in the absolute prime of his career.
But with how good the Steelers are on defense and with how good of a head coach Tomlin is, this team is a really good quarterback and receiver away from being in championship mode.
If the Steelers were to add both players, there is a chance that they could have a multi-year championship window open.
