Miami Marlins star Jazz Chisholm Jr. is getting ready for the start of spring training.
Baseball is around the corner, so the newly-converted outfielder wants to make sure he is in tip-top shape.
The flamboyant Chisholm is getting some help from a former MLB star in his training.
“Marlins Jazz Chisholm, Jr. taking soft toss bp from Gary Sheffield today on instagram live. Second time in the past week they’ve worked together. Jazz also campaigning strong for Sheff to get in the HOF,” Marlins insider Craig Mish tweeted.

With the tweet, Mish sent a picture of Sheff tossing the ball to Chisholm, who is about to destroy it, and some comments on the Instagram Live the player recently performed.
With the abundance of middle infielders on the Marlins roster, the team decided to try him in center field.
Chisholm is up for the challenge, and he definitely has the athleticism and speed to build himself a nice foundation to start.
Running the right routes, taking the right angles, and making the right jumps off the ball will come with time.
For now, the player is young (he will turn 25 before the start of the year) and eager to learn.
Sheffield never player center field in his MLB career, but he sure knew a thing or two as a hitter during his time as a player.
He belted 509 home runs, won a World Series (with the Marlins, no less, in 1997) and had a career .907 OPS.
He can certainly help, teach, and coach the young Chisholm to be the best hitter he can be.
