The National Football League is a quarterback’s league.
And while it might not seem like it based on this year’s play, the fact of the matter is that you need a star signal-caller to find success in today’s game.
With that in mind, Washington Commanders star QB Jayden Daniels was asked to give his top-five quarterbacks from the league last season.

Unsurprisingly, he didn’t need a lot of time to choose Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes.
Mahomes led his team to back-to-back Super Bowls, so that was an easy choice.
He then gave Lamar Jackson the nod.
The Baltimore Ravens star was the best player on the best regular-season team and won his second career MVP.
Then, he chose Houston Texans star CJ Stroud.
He took the league by storm as a rookie, just like Daniels, and led his team to a surprising postseason berth.
He later chose Joe Burrow, which was an odd choice.
Burrow didn’t play well last season due to injuries and couldn’t even finish the campaign, so perhaps he only chose him because of their LSU ties.
Last but not least, he gave the nod to one of the veterans: Matthew Stafford.
That was a great choice, as Stafford beat the odds and turned back the clock to lead a subpar Los Angeles Rams team to the playoffs.
Who knows? If he keeps playing like this, maybe next year’s rookies will talk about Jayden Daniels as one of the best.
