The Miami Dolphins got terrible news last week, as star cornerback Jalen Ramsey suffered a knee injury during a training camp session and was forced to go under the knife shortly after.
The former Super Bowl champion was reportedly guarding Tyreek Hill in coverage when he endured the injury.
He stayed on the field to be evaluated and was eventually carted off the field and underwent surgery.
And even though he’s expected to miss a part of the season, it seems like Ramsey doesn’t want to miss any of the action, and he’s already back on the field to watch his teammates in practice, as reported by Bobby Shouse.

That’s what leaders do, and just one of the reasons why the Dolphins didn’t hesitate to trade a third-round pick and TE Hunter Long to get the Los Angeles Rams star.
According to head coach Mike McDaniel, doctors didn’t find any additional damage beyond his torn meniscus, and both he and Ramsey confirmed that he’s going to be back on the field at some point this season.
Ramsey could reportedly be back before December, and doctors believe the surgery could actually help him prolong his career.
The Dolphins had one of the best offenses in the league last season but struggled on the other side of the field, allowing multiple explosive plays as well.
Having Ramsey back on the field will be huge for them at the most crucial stretch of the season, and they’ll hope he suffers no setbacks in his recovery.
