The Philadelphia Eagles made a risky move when they gave Jalen Hurts the key to their offense.
As promising as he was, he also came with plenty of red flags, at least according to multiple scouts and analysts.
Notably, there was even a debate about whether the Eagles should move on from him last offseason.
Needless to say, his stellar play in 2022 made those who urged the team to find him a replacement look foolish, and he just keeps getting better.
With that in mind, Hurts told Peter King that he’s looking forward to improving as a ‘triple-threat’ in the league.

When asked about what a triple threat meant, he talked about passing, running, and his mind, as some of his critics claimed that he couldn’t make reads or process in real-time, so he’s trying to put that narrative to sleep once and for all.
One could argue that Hurts isn’t the best passer or rushing quarterback in the league, but he definitely ranks high on both lists.
Moreover, his work ethic is second to none, and he’s got that ‘it’ factor and the determination to keep getting better and prove his many doubters wrong.
He’s been overlooked and questioned throughout the better part of his career, but he’s always ended up on top, up to the point where he signed the most lucrative contract extension in NFL history.
Now, he’ll have to keep that great play up to get back to the big game and get the job done this time.
