The NBA seems to have always been a league where players get multiple chances to show they belong.
Some players are drafted into poor situations and are never able to flourish.
One player that fits that description is former second-overall pick Jabari Parker.
Parker had a few outstanding seasons to start his career in Milwaukee.
But, he has been unable to stay on the court for most of his career.
Parker did not play in the NBA last season.
But during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons he played a total of 25 games.
The last time he played the majority of a season was in 2018-19 when he played 64 games.
Now Parker is set to get one more chance where his NBA career began.
According to Lily Zhao, Parker is on the Bucks’ summer league roster.

Seeing a veteran playing in the summer league is a rare occurrence.
Usually, those teams are filled with rookies and second-year players that have limited NBA experience.
But the Bucks want to see if Parker has the skills to make their regular-season roster.
Despite playing on six teams in eight seasons, Parker is still only 28 years old.
The Bucks are always looking for ways to improve their roster.
They are legitimate NBA championship contenders and finding quality role players is always a good idea.
At this time it seems like a longshot for Parker to make the Bucks roster.
Still, if he can perform well in the summer league maybe he will get an opportunity somewhere in the NBA, if not with the Bucks.
