The Los Angeles Chargers had a very successful first season under head coach Jim Harbaugh.
They returned to the playoffs after going 11-6 in the regular season thanks to complementary play from both the offense and defense.
One of the team’s best players was running back J.K. Dobbins, who had the best season of his NFL career on a one-year deal.
Dobbins recently talked about whether or not he wants to remain with the team as he is about to become a free agent.
“Yes I do. I love the Chargers. Hopefully everything gets worked out. … I’m letting my agent handle those conversations,” Dobbins said on “Up & Adams.”
Does upcoming free agent RB @Jkdobbins22 want to remain with the #Chargers???

After an injury-riddled stint with the Baltimore Ravens, Dobbins found his way to the Chargers in 2024 and rushed for a career-high 905 yards in 13 games played.
He had 1,058 total scrimmage yards despite missing four games, which is proof that he is a very good running back when he’s at his best.
If the Chargers are looking to bring back the 26-year-old, it would be a smart call given his production on offense with quarterback Justin Herbert.
Though Dobbins has yet to play a full season in the NFL, he is a valuable asset as a shifty and speedy runner with the ball in his hands.
The Chargers need to consider bringing him back on a fair deal for both sides.
