Khalil Mack still has a strong desire to continue his legendary NFL career.
After the Los Angeles Chargers’ early playoff exit a few weeks ago, Mack reportedly needed time to consider whether to continue playing.
According to ESPN senior insider Adam Schefter, the soon-to-be 34-year-old has indicated that he will play in 2025.
He is scheduled to become a free agent with his current contract now expiring.

Despite getting up there in age, the nine-time Pro-Bowler could be one of the top names on the market.
In his last three seasons with the Chargers, he combined for 31 total sacks, including a career-best 17 back in 2023.
In the last two seasons, he also contributed 19 pass deflections and 37 quarterback hits, proving that he can still affect the game in multiple ways.
The former Defensive Player of the Year has 107.5 career sacks and built himself a Hall of Fame career, but he is still looking for a Super Bowl ring.
On a cheaper deal, he could have the opportunity to join a contender once the league’s free agency period begins in March.
However, if he wants to be paid, it could be challenging to determine how many top-tier teams would be interested in paying a player in his mid-30s.
One thing is certain: He will be a name to watch over the coming months, assuming the Chargers decide not to re-sign him.
