The Kansas City Chiefs did what most people thought couldn’t be done again, at least not this year.
Despite having a down year by their standards, they managed to silence all critics and win the whole thing again.
With that in mind, former Houston Texans star J.J. Watt made sure to tip his hat to them.
Talking on ESPN on The Pat McAfee Show, Watt called the Chiefs a phenomenal organization, praising them for the way they’ve been able to build and sustain this level of success.
He credited coach Andy Reid for not only being a great coach from a football standpoint but also for the way he’s been able to keep all those different personalities in check throughout the course of the years, adding that the Chiefs have a strong belief in what they do because of the success they’ve found.
“The Chiefs are a phenomenal organization and they have extreme belief because of everything that they’ve done,” Watt said.

It’s crazy to think that in their worst year, they still managed to get past the Miami Dolphins before taking the road to beat the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens, capping it off with a win over the San Francisco 49ers and their juggernaut of a team.
Truth be told, it’s starting to look like this team has no actual flaw, and they will continue to be the guys to beat until proven otherwise.
The league didn’t make the most of this down year to put pressure on them.
Now, they’re going to have a full offseason to get better and come back even stronger next season.
