With just one month left in the NFL season, teams already eliminated from playoff contention are setting their sights on the upcoming NFL Draft.
Once again, multiple QB-needy teams will be at the top of the board.
And with Colorado star Shedeur Sanders looking like the top pick, Field Yates already knows where he’s likely to land.
In Wednesday’s edition of ESPN’s “Get Up,” Yates predicted that Sanders would take his talents to the Big Apple, with the New York Giants getting him with the first selection.

Of course, that would make perfect sense on paper, as the Giants have an elite young weapon in Malik Nabers and don’t have a starting quarterback.
Then again, Shedeur’s father, NFL legend Deion Sanders, has made it loud and clear that he will make sure that his son lands with the right team.
He was spotted on video urging Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce to draft Shedeur, and Sanders has also flirted with the Raiders with some posts on social media.
Sanders has the influence and leverage to pull this off, and while that’s not right or orthodox, it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen something like this happen.
Then again, it’s not like the Giants wouldn’t get a consolation prize.
Cam Ward appears to be a promising franchise quarterback, and if the Raiders are willing to trade up for a chance to select Sanders, they should capitalize on that opportunity.
