Giannis Antetokounmpo has been with the Milwaukee Bucks for 10 seasons and even won an NBA title for the organization in 2021. But the Greek Freak recently raised a few eyebrows following his comments regarding his future with the Bucks.
The two-time NBA MVP did say he’s still committed to the Bucks.
However, he hinted at winning championships being more crucial to him rather than being loyal to one team.
Either way, it has resulted in rumors regarding Antetokounmpo’s future with the team.
Veteran analyst Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald recently suggested a hypothetical trade scenario that could help the Heat in landing Antetokounmpo in 2024.
1 benefit to keeping Herro out of Blazers trade (and yes, this is looking WAY ahead): The Wisconsin native could be used in hypothetical '24 bid for Giannis, who has Milwaukee on the clock with recent eyebrow-raising comments. Obviously, any Bucks ask likely would start with Bam.

Jackson stated a couple of benefits for Miami if they engage in a trade for Giannis in the future.
For starters, the franchise could be saved from giving up Tyler Herro in a potential trade for Damian Lillard.
Lillard made his intentions about leaving the Portland Trail Blazers for the Heat extremely clear earlier this summer.
Although the trade would hugely benefit the Heat, they would most likely have to give up two-time NBA All-Star Bam Adebayo.
Antetokounmpo averaged 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game in the 2022-23 NBA season.
Despite leading the Bucks to a conference-best 58-24 record last season, they were eliminated in the opening round of the 2023 playoffs.
Ironically, it was the Jimmy Butler-led Heat that defeated the heavy favorites in five games.
Antetokounmpo is still under contract with the Bucks until the end of the 2025-26 season, but only if he opts in for his player option for the aforementioned season.
