Giannis Antetokoumpo once again ruffled feathers when he recently suggested he could leave the Milwaukee Bucks.
He wants to win another championship and he says he will play for whichever team makes that most possible.
According to Kendrick Perkins, Antetokounmpo’s statement is a bit confusing and even disrespectful.
Speaking on ESPN, per ClutchPoints, Perkins said, “If I’m Giannis’ teammates, I feel a little bit disrespected.”
“I really don’t get where his energy is coming from,” he added.

Perkins noted that the Bucks have worked very hard to put the right team around Antetokounmpo.
They have added Jrue Holiday, retained Khris Middleton, and landed others like Malik Beasley over the last few seasons.
The team’s front office also moved quickly to fire head coach Mike Budenholzer when their postseason fell apart.
Perkins pointed out that the Bucks are a championship-caliber team right now.
Some people seem to forget that they were the top team in the Eastern Conference when the regular season concluded.
Their 58-24 record was very impressive, but they just weren’t able to have a good postseason.
The Bucks roster is and has been very strong for the last few seasons and the teammates have all seemed to work well together.
There has been a winning mentality among the lineup and that’s what led to their number one position in the East.
That is why Perkins isn’t sure where Antetokounmpo is coming from.
All of this makes Bucks fans even more fearful because it feels like the team is doing many things to give Antetokounmpo the team he wants.
Yet, he is still speaking about possibly leaving someday.
That has some people afraid that nothing they can do will please the former MVP.
