Things will look very different for the Denver Broncos next season.
Sean Payton has started to clean house, with Russell Wilson, Justin Simmons, and Jerry Jeudy already leaving the premises.
Now, it’s all about finding the right pieces to revamp their roster and trying to be competitive.
Considering that, NFL insider Benjamin Allbright claims that they could go with either an edge rusher or a cornerback with the No. 12 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft if they don’t decide to trade down.
Those seem to be the 2 most likely positions should they not trade back. https://t.co/K4WFFips11

The Broncos have also been tied with Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy, with reports claiming that Payton is very high on him.
That seemed feasible a couple of weeks ago, but McCarthy’s draft stock has risen considerably since his performance at the NFL Scouting Combine, so he may now be a top-10 prospect, thus being out of their range.
As things stand now, the Broncos are going to have a tough time keeping up with the rest of the division, and it might take a while before they’re ready to compete or make the playoffs again.
The Kansas City Chiefs will continue to be the ruling force and the team to beat, not only in the AFC West but in the entire National Football League.
The Las Vegas Raiders proved to have a solid defense and will continue to get better under coach Antonio Pierce.
And the Los Angeles Chargers already had a stacked team, and adding Jim Harbaugh to that mix only makes them all the more dangerous.
