The Denver Broncos will look very different next season.
Sean Payton will have a clean slate for his second year in charge of the team, and the fans might not be thrilled about that.
Moreover, even some of the players are having a bad time with the decisions they’ve made.
Shortly after star CB Patrick Surtain II took to Twitter to express how sad he was for Justin Simmons’ departure, WR Courtland Sutton did the same on Instagram to complain about Jerry Jeudy being dealt away (via Ryan McFadden).
“They are playing with my emotions at this point,” Sutton said.

Sutton stated that the Broncos are just playing with his emotions at this point, so he’s definitely not happy with the way things are going at Mile High.
This is mostly a byproduct of the Russell Wilson trade.
The Broncos’ front office needs to make multiple moves and rely on cheaper and younger players to get under the salary cap, especially with all the dead money coming their way over the next couple of years.
Sutton and Jeudy had been one of the most promising wide receiver duos in the league for quite a while now, with Sutton taking a big step forward last season.
Now, he doesn’t even know who’s going to be throwing him the football next season, and he won’t have his star sidekick next to him for the foreseeable future.
Perhaps, if things continue to go this way, maybe Sutton will be the next to leave, as he’s just about to enter the prime of his career and might request a trade.
