The University of Alabama has continued to churn out high-level football prospects.
Every season, several Alabama alumni are highly regarded in the NFL Draft, a trend that is slated to continue in 2023.
Brian Branch, a former Alabama defensive back, is slated to visit the New York Giants today, per Ian Rapoport.
#Bama versatile DB Brian Branch is visiting the #Giants today, source says. A potential first safety off the board, he's also visited the #Texans, #Commanders, #Raiders. #Vikings, #Lions, and #Eagles, while also doing the #Falcons local day.

Branch has been touted as one of the best defenders in the incoming draft class and is likely to be a first-round pick.
The Giants are not the first team to meet with Branch, as Rapoport highlights.
He has met with at least seven others, each trying to get a closer look at this top prospect.
In his final season at Alabama, Branch totaled 90 total tackles, three sacks, and two interceptions.
Standing at six-feet tall, Branch’s combination of size and speed could result in an impressive NFL career.
Having elite options in a team’s secondary has proven to be valuable, especially for a deep playoff run.
The NFL has transformed into a pass-centric league, and having a superb option to cover top receivers is a must.
In his first NFL season in 2022, Sauce Gardner was able to make an immediate impact on the New York Jets and won the Defensive Rookie of the Year award as a result.
While Branch hasn’t been touted as highly as Gardner was, he does play a valuable position.
Will Branch’s meetings, along with extensive game tape be enough for teams to take a chance on him in the first round?
